Welcome to KISSed Muses!

I am Jean, one of your Board Administrators. Along with Litchi, kailia and CatsbyCat we will endeavour to make your stay as pleasant and as creatively productive as possible.

Most members will probably be familiar with the forum format, but we would appreciate if you could start your journey by reading some of the board guidelines anyway.

The board FAQ can be found here. If you have any questions about anything, please ask!

1. Play nice! We understand that there are times when we cannot help but disagree with our other members. That is perfectly fine. What anyone would not want to see are heated arguments, insulting/bashing of real and fictional people and lack of simple respect of others.

2. Out of respect for others' privacy, please try to refrain from instigating a discussion of anyone's personal life but your own.

3. Please watch your language. We might have members as young as 13 and we wouldn't want to scare them away.

4. Please respect bandwidth. This applies to every creation posted on the board. Ask for permission to use someone's words or creations, and please give credit when you do. Simply put: no hotlinking.

5. Please be courteous and provide ample warning in the subject lines or in the comments, if applicable. If any artwork deserves a rating of R or above, please mark it in the subject line, and please post links to any NC-17 creations rather than embed them in the posts with [img] tags.

6. Please note that the maximum width of images you can post is 500 pixels. if you know it is bigger than that then please use thumbnail images. If you don't know how to do it, please let us know and we'll do it for you.

7. We will strive to offer readymade avatars in our gallery but please feel free to upload the link to your remote image server or upload your own avatar from your PC. Kindly make sure that they meet the forum requirements, i.e. maximum 100 x 100 pixels and 40KB file size.

8. Signatures are welcome. But please try to limit them between 200 pixels high and 500 pixels wide. And please try and use non-animated signatures as much as possible. It would help loading the pages much easier.

9. If you need help with hosting your images, please let us know and we will try and upload them to our server.

One last thing, as the forum grows and evolves, the Admin reserves the right to change the guidelines as they see fit.

10. When registering a username, please be mindful of what name you give yourself as this will identify you across the board. It will be synonymous to who you are and what you do in the board and I'm sure you wouldn't want a username like 'gurlzrawk' or some such silly name. You might also like to thnk twice about registering a usename that link you to your favourite celebrities. Surely you can do better than 'orlandos_babe' or 'haydens_maiden'?

11. PlEEz dO nOT tYpE LikE tHiS. iT MAkeS oTHer PpL DizzY. Not to mention that you can surely spell correctly and know how to use the SHIFT key on your keyboard. So please no net speak or teen speak.

12. We're all members of different forums and communities and we know and have seen cases where members would rack up the number of their posts to get to the next rank level by leaving an obscene amount of one-liner comments all over the board. If you found time to visit the forum and scroll down to find the thread then you probably have time to compose a proper comment. So we ask you kindly to try and avoid one-liners if possible. Let's face it, we're all feedback whores!

13. Please observe proper netiquette at all times. No shouting, no matter how excited you may be. (TYPING IN CAPITALS IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING ON THE NET).
